Give Your AI Access to Evidence
Connect. Ask. Verify. Without sending the document to WINDI.
Before the Connector: To verify something in WINDI, you had to leave your conversation, open another site, learn a new interface, copy data, interpret the result, and come back.
With the Connector: You ask your AI. The AI asks WINDI. You stay in the same conversation.
The key insight:
Claude doesn't "know" WINDI.
Claude knows how to ask WINDI.
That's the difference between an opinion and a verified record.
When you see the "Connect" button in your AI's connector list, that's not automation — that's your authorization.
A listed connector is a closed door.
The "Connect" button is you saying: "This AI can speak with WINDI on my behalf."
Before that click, Claude doesn't even know WINDI exists in your account. After it, Claude knows — but only for you, only in your account.
This is the human approval layer at the connector level. The AI processes, you decide to connect, WINDI guarantees what the connection proves. It couldn't work any other way without breaking the doctrine.
Before you learn tool names, understand what you can ask:
⚠️ CRITICAL DISTINCTION
NOT_VERIFIABLE ≠ FALSE
When WINDI returns "not verifiable", it means:
"No evidence was found for this digest in the queried scope."
It does not mean: false, fraudulent, altered, non-existent, AI-generated, or untrue.
This is what separates WINDI from a "truth detector".
1 Learn the Rules First
Before verifying anything, ask WINDI what it proves:
Claude calls explain_scope and returns WINDI's official statement. You learn the instrument's rules from the instrument itself.
2 Verify Something That Exists
Use a receipt you created in the Playground, or this demo receipt:
Claude calls get_receipt. The response doesn't come from Claude's knowledge — it comes from an external infrastructure. This is likely your first experience feeling the difference between "the AI said" and "the ledger says".
3 Verify a Hash
Try with a SHA-256 digest:
Claude calls verify_digest. No cryptography knowledge needed — think of the hash as a mathematical fingerprint of the content.
4 Experience NOT_VERIFIABLE
This is the most important exercise. Try a hash that was never registered:
Result: NOT_VERIFIABLE. Now you understand: this doesn't mean the content is false. It means WINDI has no evidence for it. You've just learned the doctrine better than ten pages could teach.
The Connector is read-only.
You can explore without fear of doing something irreversible. You can ask, query, verify, understand — but you cannot accidentally create a seal.
In the Connector, you query. In the Playground, you create evidence.
Interprets
Evidences
WINDI doesn't ask you to abandon your AI.
Keep using the AI you prefer. When you need to verify, it can ask WINDI.
The AI you chose + evidence you can trust.
The Connector doesn't turn your conversation into an audit. It adds a capability that appears only when it makes sense.
The principle:
You keep working normally. WINDI appears at the right moment, without taking over the conversation.
"WINDI status: VERIFIABLE.
Scope: … Limits: …"
"The receipt was found. This confirms the digest was registered — but doesn't authenticate the contract."
The flexibility is in how you work — not in what the evidence means.
The AI still cannot say "WINDI verified the document" when only a digest was checked.
The AI still cannot hide when it couldn't reach WINDI.
The AI still cannot invent evidence that doesn't exist.
Evidence constrains the conclusion. It doesn't constrain the conversation.
The Connector today lets you verify. It doesn't yet explain how to create.
A fourth tool is planned: windi_how_to_seal
It would answer: "How do I get my own WINDI record?"
The answer: Go to the Playground, approve (that's I9 again), receive your receipt.
Today, the Connector is a witness — it reads the ledger. Tomorrow, it could become a guide — explaining how to create evidence without ever doing it for you.
That boundary is constitutional. The AI can point the way. Only the human opens the door.
Dê à sua IA acesso à evidência
Conecte. Pergunte. Verifique.
1 Aprenda as Regras Primeiro
O Claude chama explain_scope e retorna a declaração oficial do WINDI. Você aprende as regras do instrumento através do próprio instrumento.
2 Verifique Algo Que Existe
No Connector você consulta. No Playground você cria a evidência.
Interpreta
Evidencia
A evidência limita a conclusão. Não limita a conversa.
O Connector hoje permite verificar. Ainda não explica como criar.
Uma quarta tool está planeada: windi_how_to_seal
Ela responderia: "Como obtenho meu próprio registro WINDI?"
Bevor Sie technische Namen lernen, verstehen Sie, was Sie fragen können:
⚠️ KRITISCHE UNTERSCHEIDUNG
NOT_VERIFIABLE ≠ FALSCH
Bevor Sie etwas verifizieren, fragen Sie WINDI, was es beweist:
2 Verifizieren Sie Etwas Existierendes
